Sanctuary Creative Works was founded by Pat Gangnon who rescued an old United Church from the wrecker's ball
and had it lovingly restored. Located in the village of Hillsdale this unique
enterprise offers a wide array of visual arts from maskmaking, sculpture, illustrations,
woodturning, card design and painting. Set amidst a creative,
soothing garden this endeavour offers workshops in garden design, painting, illustration
(both Card and Children's Book), maskmaking, flower arranging and many
more.
Mabel, who was a student of Pat's at OCAD, will be displaying
her art at the spacious gallery on a permanent basis. She will also be presenting
several workshops along with Pat in garden design, flower arranging, photography
and painting.
