Mabel Heyd is a visual artist specializing in watercolour, acrylic and oil paintings and has been actively involved in showing and selling her works for the past ten years. She is an Honour's Graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design in Fine Arts, Drawing and Painting and a Graduate of York University. She expresses and explores the landscapes of her rural surroundings throughout the seasons and is focussed on the natural world as a source of joy and inspiration.

Mabel is a multi talented artist and is equally adept in the visual arts, teaching, floral design and event decorating.
